Training

Back to work with two league games coming up this week

Málaga CF will face Real Zaragoza on Thursday and SD Huesca on Sunday. Víctor Sánchez del Amo’s men will prepare thoroughly before heading to Aragón, where they’ll remain from tomorrow, Wednesday until the following Monday.

The Blue and Whites returned to training this Tuesday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium. The session was divided into two parts; the first involving physical training and the second with the ball taking centre stage.

After an hour, the starting players from the match against Real Sporting moved into the stadium’s interior galleries to focus on their own recovery work. Remaining in the gym today, outside the group, were Cifu suffering with some physical discomfort to his hip pending development, and Dani Pacheco, who continues with his recovery. The Málaga-born player later moved on to the pitch.

There was a wide representation from the MCF Academy this morning, with 11 players in training within the first team dynamic: Kellyan, Gonzalo, Ismael Casas, Abqar, Juande, César Llopis, Cristo, Ramón (recovered from discomfort sustained during Sunday’s Atlético Malagueño - Antequera CF match), Hugo, Hicham and Antoñín.

The squad is called-up for another training session tomorrow, Wednesday at the same time and location. Subsequently, they will head to Aragón where the team will remain in concentration for five days with two matches coming up (LaLiga SmartBank matches 9 and 10) against Real Zaragoza and SD Huesca.
