It promises to be an interesting clash between the Malaga side, fourth on the table with 55 points, and the sixth placed team who have 50 points.  It’ll be the second match in an intense week for MCF after falling to Barcelona on Wednesday by 4-1; similarly, the ‘Colchoneros’ drew 1-1 at home against Real Sociedad.
 
‘Cholo’ Simeone’s Atlético have managed to get into the Europa League final which will take place in Bucharest against Athletic Club de Bilbao. The duo formed by Colombian-born Radamel Falca, who’s scored more than 30 goals in the competitions he’s taken part in, and the ex-Malaguista Adrián López, who is sought after by the national squad for his excellent performance this season, will be the biggest threat offered by the Red and Whites.

The stats of the last two campaigns are very much in favour of the Blue and Whites.  In the 20^th match of the 2009/10 season, there was a great 0-2 win.  And in the 35^th league meeting there was an overwhelming victory of 0-3 .  If there’s another win, and if Levante (5^th with 52 points) don’t win in their match, MCF is assured of a Champions League place next season.
