Málaga CF underwent an open training session this afternoon at the Ciudad de Málaga Stadium. Some 3,000 Malaguista fans enjoyed watching the team from the stands.
The Blue and Whites’ team was in training for more than an hour and a half, prioritising physical work during the first half of the session, and football in the second half – including mini-matches using half the pitch, and possession work in groups. Absent from the first team, as well as goalkeepers, Kameni and Ochoa, was right-back, Rosales.
The special open session for fans, saw president Sheikh Al-Thani in attendance; adviser Nayef Al-Thani; Club advisers, Antonio Benítez and Abdullah Ben Barek; and sports director, Francesc Arnau. In total, some 3,000 fans congregated on the terraces and gave a standing ovation to the team, cheered every goal scored in the mini-matches and applauded Juande Ramos and his squad on this festive day.
Tomorrow, Sunday from 9 a.m., Málaga Club de Fútbol will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga Stadium.
