“When I took on the role a while ago, I said one of my first objectives was to make Antonio professional. Without the market open it couldn’t be accomplished, and the action had to be analysed with the league. We’ve always had a motto that says that if we don’t improve what we already have, nobody will come here. Achieving this goal and using registration number 18 is twice as good. The lad has earned it and we can count on homegrown players from an impressive batch of talent. It also sends out a message to the youth ranks that, by having clear goals, by working hard and wanting to play for Málaga, you can achieve it.
