A day with only one afternoon training session in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, where the ball had a starring role. The Blues and Whites players completed a session with a warm-up, rounds, ball possession and shooting exercises, plus matches on a reduced pitch. All in about an hour and a half. The only absentees were the Under 20s internationals, Recio and Isco. The recently returned Monreal and Cazorla did some recovery work in the gym. With them were Weligton, Malagueño and Helder Rosario. Also of note was the presence of sub goalie José Carlos who, alongside Caballero and Rubén, worked under the orders of Xabi Mancisidor.
