Following the match, the Argentine winger told the media: “Although we didn’t come away with a good result, it’s important to have as many minutes on the pitch as possible. The team is building up an impressive rhythm of play and performing well with the ball. These sorts of matches are extremely helpful to ensure the team is ready for the start of League competition and a chance to correct any mistakes. I got to play for 45 minutes and worked well with the defence. I’m pleased with my debut.”
