Álvaro Fernández, Iván Jaime and Spain’s U-19s qualify to Elite round

The internationals certified Spain’s U-19s’ place in the next round of the qualifiers, as first in the group, following the 1-2 victory against Switzerland. For his part, Keidi Bare played the 90 minutes of the 2-2 draw against Estonia’s U-21s.

Álvaro Fernández and Iván Jaime will be, should Santi Denia decide, in the next qualifying stage for the U-19 European Championship after finishing top of the group in the mini-tournament held in Switzerland with a 1-2 win against the host side. The goalkeeper was in the starting line-up in every game, whilst the midfielder played the 90 minutes in the first match against Andorra - scoring a goal - 18 minutes against Belarus and the final four minutes against Switzerland.

Meanwhile, reserve team player Keidi Bare played all minutes of the Albanian U-21s two matches. Against Spain, Albania lost by 1-0, whilst in Tuesday’s game, Albania drew 2-2 away to Estonia’s U-21s.
