The ‘Cadete’ player from Málaga CF’s youth academy, Álex Robles, has been called-up to join Spain’s under-16s in the UEFA Tournament in the Algarve (Portugal) between 10th and 16th February against Germany, Portugal and Holland.
Álex Robles was selected to participate in a series of training sessions with Spain’s under-16s in September last year. At just 15 years old, the ‘1st Andaluza Cadete’ and the under-16s were proclaimed Spanish champions in the Andalucían under-16s championships, and Álex Robles is again taking part in the national competition with Andalucía.
The Blue and Whites’ academy player and the rest of Spain’s under-16s participating in the UEFA Tournament, will convene in Las Rozas (Madrid) on 9th February, before heading to the Algarve the following day.
On 12th February at 2 p.m., Spain’s under-16s will face Holland at the Vila Real de Santo Antonio stadium. On the 14th at 4 p.m. Spain will come up against Germany at the same stadium, and on the 16th at 11 a.m. will face Portugal.
