A return to training at a less intense pace for the starting players
Málaga were back to work this Tuesday morning following a day off yesterday, at La Rosaleda’s annexe ground. The starting players against Leganés underwent a less intense session than the rest of the group.
After a half-hour video session, goalkeeper, Boyko; homegrown keeper, Aarón, plus another 16 players stepped on to the pitch at the annexe ground, along with reserve team players; En-Nesyri, Luis and Ontiveros. The starting players against Leganés, except for Kameni (absent with the Club’s permission), and injured Kuzmanovic (undergoing Achilles tendinopathy treatment – right foot), had a less intense session than the substitutes and non-called-up players from the last game, who prioritised work using the ball until 12:30.
Separately from the group, Recio and Charles were on the pitch undergoing specific training; whilst Llorente and Miguel Torres also underwent a light workout on the field of play. Keko remained in the gym to focus on recovery exercises, whilst non-physically fit Weligton, along with Kameni, were absent with permission from the Club, to attend yesterday’s #PremiosLaLiga gala in Valencia.
Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, Málaga CF will be in training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
