Málaga CF Femenino drew 1-1 against Córdoba CF Femenino. Adriana Martín scored for the Blue and Whites, with the Malaguistas dominating play during the first half, and going level in the second half.
The initial stages of play involved a great deal of back and forth for both teams, in terms of possession and gameplay. Córdoba dominated the opening minutes, sending out a warning to Noelia with two shots at goal without success. From minute 12’, the Blue and Whites began to control play, which continued until 45’. The incessant attempts from Adriana and Buceta didn’t manage to penetrate Gordillo’s goal. The Galician player had two clear chances, but in the first, thanks to a pass from Adriana, the ball grazed the crossbar. Buceta’s second shot, following a superb María Ruiz pass, resulted in the ball hitting the right post. The locals didn’t reach the Málaga area and the referee signalled one minute of stoppage time. In 46’, the match went to half-time with 0-0 on the scoreboard.
In the second half, the locals came out with greater effectiveness and ran into a strong Noelia who saved Kerlly’s shot at the target in 47’. The Green and Whites felt more comfortable on the field of play, whilst José Herrera gave minutes to Ayano, who came on in place of Buceta due to injury, as well as Cintia and Edna. From 65’, Málaga regained control of the game. María Ruiz made a number of attempts, as did Adriana and Encarni, the latter with a shot in 68’ that the rival keeper deflected with her feet. However, in 85’, Mery Martí had the chance to score and took her team 1-0 up. A minute later, Málaga equalised as Adriana launched a powerful shot right on target. The forward received the clearance from the keeper to take Málaga level, with the final result a 1-1 draw.
