The sixth edition of the MCF Foundation’s 'Siempre Fuerte' awards left us some memorable moments full of sentiment and emotion in abundance.
Thanks to MCFTV, we review in the video above some of the most striking 'highlights' in the almost two-hour gala held yesterday in a packed Museo Picasso Málaga.
The mischievous sensuality of Laura, voice and soul of the Malagueño group Dry Martina, kicked off the event, to rapturous applause with the song “Ahora.” Applause for those who are here, and for those who are no longer with us, with Pablo Ráez always present.
There was an emotional ovation for Jorge Ramos, the legendary late sports journalist, who enjoyed broadcasting this gala and everything involving football, sport and Málaga on 101TV like no other. Basti, with all his heart, thanked his former teammate and current Blue and White coach, Sergio Pellicer, for his commitment and “giving his life for Málaga.”
Alberto, the Club's maintenance employee, was given a special mention, and received a thunderous Siempre Fuerte Applause for his family history. Family, that's our Supercapacitad@s. How they enjoyed singing their hymn 'Somos Genuinos' in the company of A la Grupa!
Another great moment was discovering the work dedicated to this year's winners, made digitally and with a Picasso flavour by a great artist, Andrés Mérida. Dry Martina performed again to close the event with “al son de la buena vida.”
The gesture of the winners' arms raised as a sign of strength, united on stage in perfect communion in remembrance of Pablo, with the presence of his mother Rosa and his sister Esther, made for an unforgettable snapshot from 2023 to eternity.
Thank you for everything, Museo Picasso Málaga, Fundación El Pimpi, Cervezas San Miguel and Grupo LIMSAMA!
