Burgos: “It motivates me to see people wanting to triumph”
The Malaguista player, who used to play for Eibar and who turned 31 this week, appeared in the mixed zone after #EibarMálaga. “We’re annoyed but have no regrets. On Saturday, against Burgos at our stadium, we need to win,” he said.

Narrow defeat for Málaga CF against top of the table side SD Eibar, at the Municipal de Ipurúa, on LaLiga SmartBank matchday 23. Stoichkov (32’) and Berrocal (89’) scored for the locals. The Malaguista goal was scored by Esteban Burgos (89’).

Málaga CF returned to training at La Rosaleda’s Annexe ground this Friday morning. Burgos and Cristian carried out specific training, whilst N’Diaye completed the week’s training at the same pace as the group.
