‘Malaguista’ fans have now purchased all tickets for the return leg of the initial Second Division B promotion play-offs. The Blue and Whites’ reserve team ended the first leg with a 0-0 draw against Osasuna Promesas. The return leg takes place on Sunday 31st May at 11 a.m. at the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground. Therefore on match day no tickets will be available and the ‘no more tickets’ sign will be displayed.

The Málaga CF School’s 2014/15 season came to an end with a special training session at La Rosaleda stadium. Blue and Whites’ goalkeeper, Carlos Kameni, whose son was a pupil at the school, stepped on to the pitch along with over a hundred students who enjoyed an unforgettable day. The Blue and Whites’ School returns in September!

Málaga Club de Fútbol and ‘la Caixa’ have increased the financing terms of the ‘Malaguista’ season tickets from 6 to 9 months without interest. Therefore members who are in possession of a Málaga CF – ‘la Caixa’ card (available without the need to open an account with this bank) can take advantage of this agreement, by visiting the members’ site on www.malagacf.com, clicking on the ‘MALAGUISTA’ banner, or at La Rosaleda ticket offices.

Málaga Club de Fútbol, along with Autocares Vázquez Olmedo and AM Expanding have launched a special project for visitors to enjoy a unique Málaga CF experience. From June onwards, tour operators and travel agencies will be offering a pack which includes a tour of the city on the Club’s official coach visiting the most famous landmarks in Málaga, as well as an official tour of La Rosaleda, including a cocktail, a welcome box and a 20% discount in the Club’s official stores.

The Moroccan-born player was named MVP by ‘Malaguista’ fans on social media more times than any other member of the Blue and Whites this season in games at La Rosaleda. Amrabat comments: “We had a great season but unfortunately we ended in ninth place.” He then added a message to the fans in Spanish, saying: “Thanks for your support. See you soon.”

This Sunday 31st May at the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground at 11 a.m., Atlético Malagueño will welcome Osasuna Promesas for the return leg of the initial Second Division B promotion play-offs. Tickets for Club members are priced at 1 euro, and can be purchased on Thursday and Friday at La Rosaleda ticket offices.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Roberto Rosales has been chosen by UEFA.com as part of the BBVA League’s Revelation Team of the 2014/15 season. Rosales is one of the 11 players, along with goalkeeper, Sergio Álvarez (RC Celta de Vigo); defenders, Trémoulinas (Sevilla FC), Mustafi (Valencia CF) and Giménez (At. Madrid); midfielders, Aleix Vidal (Sevilla FC), Toni Kroos (R. Madrid) and Kakuta (R. Vallecano); and strikers, Luis Suárez (FC Barcelona), Vietto (Villarreal CF) and Jonathas (Elche CF). Valencia CF coach, Nuno Espírito was named the revelation coach of the season.

La Academia players; Ernestas Juskevicius, Álex Robles, Yousef El Asri, Juan de Dios Rivas and Mario Mendes took part in the final stage of the under-16s Spanish Championships with Andalucía. The team came from behind twice against the Basque Country in the final, but in the end lost out by 2-3 in extra time.

Following a great season with Málaga CF, the Blue and Whites’ right-back is now representing Venezuela in the Copa America: “I’ve not had many injuries this season thank God, had good continuity and I think I deserve this following such hard work this year. I’m now focused on playing with my national team, but when I return I’ll continue to work as hard or even harder, as the competition within the group has been very good. Now it’s time to change and represent my country, which is always a wonderful experience for me. I’m really keen to do my best and put Málaga CF’s name on top.”

The youth academy team suffered a 3-1 defeat in the return leg of the Copa del Rey Juvenil knockout round against CF Damm. The rival made it an uphill struggle for the ‘Malaguistas’ in the first half as they took the lead thanks to a goal from Doncel. Erik Expósito gave the Blue and Whites hope at the start of the second half, who gave their all in order to qualify, however it was the Catalán-based side that sealed their victory with two goals in the final minutes of play.

Málaga CF’s players and coaching team thanked the ‘Malaguista’ fans following this evening’s match, wearing “Gracias afición” “Thank you to the fans” t-shirts. The entire squad, along with coach, Javi Gracia did a lap of the pitch at La Rosaleda stadium, applauding the Blue and Whites’ fans who responded with singing and a standing ovation to bring an end to the 2014/15 season. The Málaga-born striker scored two goals in tonight’s final game of the season at La Rosaleda, and was named man of the match by Blue and Whites’ fans: “We played well. I’m thrilled with the two goals I scored to say goodbye to the fans and the team. We fought with dignity and we must be proud of Málaga and the entire season. This team has brought enjoyment to fans all over the world.”
