The Málaga Club de Fútbol player was a key part in Portugal’s 5-0 victory over Germany in the semi-finals of the under-21s European Championships, taking place in the Czech Republic. The ‘Malaguista’ striker, who joined the match in the second half, scored the final, definitive goal. Ricardo Horta will therefore be present in the final of this competition.

With the aim of offering more services to fans, Málaga Club de Fútbol is extending the renewal period for season ticket holders until 18th July, with seat locations reserved until this date. Therefore, the dates have also changed for fans who wish to alter their seat location, now taking place between 21st and 24th July. Fans who wish to buy a new season ticket can do so from Wednesday 1st July.

Once the purchase option was exercised for Nordin Amrabat on 30th April, and before the deadline set by Galatasaray, Málaga Club de Fútbol has now paid the first instalment to the Turkish club for the Moroccan international. Amrabat, who has signed a contract with Málaga CF until 2018/19, will be presented when he returns to Málaga after the summer holidays.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s director general, Vicente Casado, accompanied by Club advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Benítez and Ben Barek held a press conference in the Juan Cortés press room today to analyse the Club’s current situation, as well as confirm the incorporation of striker, Charles and the first payment for Amrabat. The responsibility of the management of the Club following the painful sales of players, developments with regards to the season ticket campaign, the construction of the Sports City, a debt that has been reduced considerably and the internal restructuring with Javier González de Lara as president of the Málaga CF Foundation, and the creation of a Strategic, Economic and Legal Committee with Daniel Pastor, were some of the featured topics addressed by Casado during the press conference. He also praised the efforts made by season ticket holders.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Real Club Celta de Vigo have come to an agreement for Charles Dias de Oliveira (Belem, Brazil, 04/04/1984), awaiting the medical, to join the ‘Malaguistas’ until the 2016/17 season. The Brazilian-born striker, with Portuguese nationality, is well-known to coach, Javi Gracia, whom he worked with at Pontevedra and UD Almería, the latter where he was named the highest goal-scorer in the Second Division, with 27 goals. The player will soon be presented, although a date has not yet been set.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Fábio Ricardo Gomes Fonseca ‘Espinho’ (Espinho, Portugal, 18/08/1985) have reached an agreement for the Portuguese-born midfielder to join the Martiricos outfit until 2016/17. Fábio Espinho, from PFK Ludogorets Razgrad, who were proclaimed League champions, Cup and Supercup winners in Bulgaria in 2013/14, and took part in the last UEFA Champions League, is Málaga CF’s first signing of the 2015/16 season. The Portuguese-born player will shortly be officially presented, though a date has not yet been confirmed.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Sporting Clube de Braga have agreed the loan of Juan Carlos Pérez (Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, 30/03/1990) to the Martiricos Club for the 2015/16 season, with an option to buy at the end of the season. 25 year-old Juan Carlos is a versatile player who can play in any position on the left wing. Formed in Real Madrid’s youth ranks, he made his first team debut in 2010/11. After signing to Sporting Clube de Braga, the skilful player was loaned out to Real Zaragoza, Real Betis Balompié and last season, Granada Club de Fútbol.

The campaign is run by the Málaga Club de Fútbol Foundation and ‘la Caixa’ Welfare Project to educate through sport.

It’s a record for our city as never before has a Malagueño team consolidated so many years in the elite category of Spanish football. It’s a fact that season ticket holders can experience as Málaga still has their place reserved with only 15 days until the renewal period concludes. However, the four-instalment renewal plan is no longer available and another payment form must be chosen.
