Students from Málaga CF’s Camp in Nerja visited the Blue and Whites’ first team in training this morning, to bring an end to the week. 130 boys and girls have enjoyed an amazing experience with some of the best coaches form the youth academy, as well as former ‘Malaguista’ players from the ‘Enrique López Cuenca’ sports city.

The Blue and Whites’ coach doesn’t want to focus on long-term objectives yet, and is only concerned with victory on Saturday that could secure First Division permanency this season: “I don’t want to talk about next week as there’s a lot to play for tomorrow, so I prefer to focus my energies on that so as not to mislead anyone. We need to be super focused as we know the difficulties surrounding every match this season as every team has objectives to fulfil, so there is no such thing as an easy rival for us.”

The Blue and Whites’ player presented the children from this association, which works with young people and adolescents at risk of social or educational exclusion, a ‘Malaguista’ membership card in the name of the Málaga CF Foundation. The young player shared his experiences and sporting values, such as strength, sacrifice and hard work, with over 100 children at the association.

This photograph bears the names of all Málaga municipalities where first team players, La Academia members, veterans, Club employees, members from supporters’ clubs and season ticket holders are from. Málaga CF is looking forward to celebrating Andalucía Day, and is dedicating Saturday’s match against Getafe CF at La Rosaleda at 10 p.m. to Málaga province.
