One of the most-loved goalkeepers in Málaga history, Américo, returned to La Rosaleda today after a period of convalescence, to visit his team mates from the Veterans’ Association.

The Association of Ex Málaga players have had an intense weekend. Last weekend they lost to Deportivo in Archidona (4-11) in the Fertiberia Indoor Football League. And last Sunday they drew (1-1) with Roteña CF in El Viso, in the penultimate league game this season, of the Liga Andaluza del Sur.

The team from the Asscoaition of ex-Málaga Football Players were defeated 4-11 this Friday by Deportivo de la Coruña. The Fertiberia Indoor Football League, played in Archidona, saw the powerful visitor beat the Malaguistas veterans, eliminating them from the next phase of the competition.

It was an intense weekend for the team from the Association of ex-Málaga Football Players. After being defeated on Friday in the Fertiberia Indoor Football league against Celta in Vigo, on Saturday the Malaguista veterans played the 9th match of the Andaluza del Sur League, securing a 1-2 win against Puerto Malagueño at Julían Torralba. Basti was a double goal scorer (min 6 and min 32).

The Málaga veterans fell against Celta de Vigo , by 9-3, in a Fertiberia Indoor Football League match. The Malaguistas blamed the lack of rotation in Galicia as they notched-up their third defeat in three games in the competition. The match is to be broadcast tomorrow, Saturday 11th, at 6 p.m on Intereconomía TV.
