The Blue and Whites’ players took part in their only scheduled training session whilst in Uruguay in a setting that oozes football; the Centenario stadium, the legendary ground where the first World Cup in history was held in 1930. This historic stadium will see CA Peñarol take on Málaga CF tomorrow at 3 p.m. (8 p.m. in Spain) for the Blue and Whites’ final match in the Copa EuroAmericana in the Liga World Challenge.

The ‘Malaguistas’ kicked off their second day in Argentina with a training session at the ground of local team, Deportivo Riestra, based close to the Nuevo Gasómetro ground. Despite clouds and a drop in temperature, it remained pleasant in Buenos Aires considering it is currently winter in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Blue and Whites underwent their first training session in Buenos Aires at CA San Lorenzo de Almagro’s stadium, the Nuevo Gasómetro, within the Liga World Challenge tour. The CopaEuroAmericana match is taking place on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. local time (1:30 a.m. in Spain).

The Málaga CF players were in training the day before the Liga World Challenge match at the venue bearing the same name as the Club, Deportivo Cali stadium. Here they will face the Columbian champions on Sunday 26th July in the Copa EuroAmericana at 5 p.m. local time (12 a.m. in Spain).

The Blue and Whites stepped on to the pitch in Columbia for the first time in a training session at Colegio Jefferson in Cali. The 25 ‘Malaguista’ players enjoyed a pleasant temperature whilst in training, in front of an excited young crowd made up of children from the Columbia World Vision Foundation, who later enjoyed spending time with the players at the end of the session.

The players are continuing training on home soil, between last week’s visit to Germany and the forthcoming trip to South America, with this week’s sessions taking place at La Rosaleda stadium. Recently incorporated Albentosa underwent his second group session today, whilst Angeleri worked separately from the others this morning due to injury discomfort in his right knee.

The Málaga Club de Fútbol players returned to training this morning following the tour of Germany last weekend. International players, Roberto Rosales, Ricardo Horta and Roberto Chen re-joined today’s training session, which was held at La Rosaleda.

The Blue and Whites’ final training session in Germany at local team FV Baden OOS’s ground took place this morning. At 5:30 p.m. Málaga CF will face the second and final match of this first 2015/16 pre-season tour against SC Freiburg.
