Málaga Club de Fútbol was back in training this morning following three days off granted by Manuel Pellegrini, as the team didn’t play last weekend due to the Copa del Rey final. Willy Caballero was back in group training today having recovered from a ligament sprain in his left ankle he sustained in the match against Real Madrid.
Málaga Club de Fútbol were back in training this morning, the last session of the week, ahead of Manuel Pellegrini allowing the team a three-day break, as this weekend’s scheduled match was brought forward to last week. Toulalan was back in normal group training today, and Willy Caballero was back working on the pitch under the instruction of physical trainer Hugo Camarero. Roque Santa Cruz, Martín Demichelis, Iturra and Julio Baptista exercised in the gym again this morning.
This morning’s training session at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium had some very special visitors: more than 2,000 children from schools in Málaga and throughout the province, as part of their visit to the Museum & Tour at La Rosaleda. With regards to injured players, Demichelis underwent a series of tests this morning, confirming his sprained right ankle (his recovery status is still pending).
Málaga Club de Fútbol was back in training this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga Stadium, following a day off after Wednesday’s League clash with Real Madrid. After having to abandon training early on Tuesday, Jesús Gámez is now back to work with the group, whilst Jérémy Toulalan and Willy Caballero are undergoing recovery treatment and exercised in the gym today.
The players from Saturday’s match had a less intense session at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium this morning, two days before they face Real Madrid in the 36th BBVA League match at the Santiago Bernabéu. Jesús Gámez returned to group training today, following a week of training separately from the others. Toulalan again exercised on the pitch under the instruction of Hugo Camarero, whilst Kameni remains absent with the Club’s permission.
Málaga were back to work this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga Stadium. Goalkeeper Carlos Kameni was absent from training with the Club’s permission, due to personal reasons, along with Jérémy Toulalan and Jesús Gámez who are both recovering from injury. Toulalan worked on the pitch under the instruction of Hugo Camarero, and ended the session in the gym, whilst Gámez worked with physiotherapists in the gym.
The second session of the week at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium saw the return of Martín Demichelis and Eliseu to group training. Both were suffering from a hamstring sprain and exercised in the gym yesterday.
Joaquín Sánchez has recovered from tonsillitis and returned to group training today, the penultimate session ahead of Sunday’s League clash with Getafe CF at La Rosaleda (5 p.m.) The only player absent from training was Jérémy Toulalan, who is still recovering from injury.
