The Alevínes are runners-up in the Andalucían Championships, and Benjamínes come third
The Malaguista Academy was present in the tournament held in Carchuna-Calahonda (Granada), in which Sevilla, Betis and Córdoba, amongst others, also took part.
Málaga CF’s Second Andaluza Alevín team were runners-up in the Andalucían Championships, held over the weekend in the Granada municipality of Carchuna-Calahonda. They defeated Ciudad de Granada in the semi-final and lost to Sevilla FC in the final.
The MCF Academy players performed well against Granada, securing a 5-3 win and a place in the final against Sevilla FC, who defeated Real Betis Balompíe on penalties. The Blue and Whites lost by 7-1 against Sevilla, ending the competition in second place. Ciudad de Granada and Betis faced each other in the consolation round, with the Green and Whites victorious by 4-0.
For their part, the Third Andaluza Benjamín teamclaimed third place in their run of the Andalucían Championships. They lost 3-0 to Real Betis in the semi-final, and defeated UD Pavia in the fight for third place by 4-0. Betis won the tournament in the Benjamín category with a 2-1 win against Córdoba.
