Sunday training at the annexe ground to end the week

A longer week of training than usual has now come to an end, ahead of Monday’s match against Levante UD at La Rosaleda, kicking off at 8:30 p.m.

With all the team members available – except Juankar, who is undergoing surgery on Tuesday for the injury to his left adductor muscle –  the training-packed week has now ended for Javi Gracia and the squad, as they await their next match on Monday.

During this final session of the week, the team viewed images of the rival, before stepping on to the pitch at La Rosaleda’s annexe ground.  The team then focused on a warm-up workout consisting of games, and later rounds and strategy exercises.  Goalkeepers, Kameni and Ochoa concentrated on specific work and trained separately the group from the start of the session, before joining them later on.

Tomorrow morning, the called-up players for the match against Levante (Monday 2nd May, 8:30 p.m.) will meet at La Rosaleda around midday, to later head to Hotel Double Tree by Hilton Reserva del Higuerón until an hour and a half before the match.
