Raquel García Yagüe (Madrid, 22nd April 1997) is the new Málaga CF Femenino midfielder for the 2017-18 season. García joins the ranks of the Blue and Whites’ women’s team, coming from Atlético de Madrid Féminas B.
Footballing career
She began her career in the world of football in the 2007-08 season with Puerta Bonita in the Spanish capital. In 2008, she joined Atlético de Madrid. With the Red and Whites, she competed in category C until the 2014-15 season, when she moved to form part of the B team, from where she arrived to the Costa del Sol.

I’m thrilled with the confidence shown in me for this new and exciting project at such as a great Club like Málaga CF. Since I received the call from Antonio Contreras, everything has been amazing. I will help the team and bring the best of myself, so that through hard work and consistency the proposed objectives will be fulfilled. I hope to help take the Blue and White colours to the highest level. It’s a great opportunity to keep growing. From today, I’m another ‘Boquerona’, and I can’t wait to wear the jersey as soon as possible”.
