The Blue and Whites arrived at Bilbao airport at 12:30 p.m. and will remain at Hotel Gran Silken Domine until tonight’s match. The players travelled alongside some 50 fans who will be cheering their team on at San Mamés tonight, for the Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg, kicking off at 10.

Málaga CF is heading to Bilbao for the second time in a week, this time for the Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg against Athletic Club, taking place on Thursday at 10 p.m. at San Mamés. The Blue and Whites are travelling to Bilbao on a charter flight on the same day as the match.

La Academia player, Jose Luis Zalazar Martínez ’Kuki’ has again been selected by under-17s coach from the Spanish Football Federation, Santi Denia to take part in an international friendly between Spain and Switzerland on Wednesday 4th February in Oliva (Valencia).

The Blue and Whites’ coach knows just how important tomorrow’s historic Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg against Athletic Club is: “Every Cup match is like a final.
