The Málaga CF player was part of Spain’s under-21s victory against Belarus. The ‘Malaguista’ joined the match in minute 68, substituting goal-scorer, Gerard Delofeu.

The Professional Football League (LFP) has announced the timetable for the 33rd, 34th and 35th BBVA League games of the season. Málaga Club de Fútbol will welcome Deportivo de la Coruña on Sunday 26th April at 12 p.m. for the 33rd League match of the season. Three days later, on Wednesday 29th, Javi Gracia’s men will visit Balaídos to face Celta de Vigo, for the 34th game, kicking off at 8 p.m. The 35th match of the season will see the ‘Malaguistas’ host Elche CF on Sunday 3rd May at 9 p.m.

Although official competition stops for the holidays, the youngest teams in the ‘Malaguista’ youth academy are still in action during Easter. As well as the ‘Mundialito Alevín’ tournament which is already underway and the 1st Javi Mérida competition which took place yesterday, won by the ‘Prebenjamines’, another six tournaments are scheduled over the Easter break.

It was a good weekend for the Club’s youth sides with victories for the senior teams, Atlético Malagueño and Atlético Málaga. The ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ Group 4 boys were proclaimed champions with three matches left until the end of the season, and the ‘1ª Andaluza Infantil’ Group 2 team has also claimed the top spot. Congratulations to Manel Ruano and Raúl Iznata’s teams!

Málaga Club de Fútbol was back to work this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, to begin preparations for Saturday’s match against Real Sociedad. Amrabat, who was in action with Morocco in a friendly against Uruguay, returned to training with the Blue and Whites today.

Málaga Club de Fútbol coach, Javi Guerra held a press conference following this morning’s training session at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, to talk about the team: “The best and most important part of the season is yet to come and we’ve got a difficult, but good, challenge ahead. We need to restore our excitement and defeat Real Sociedad.”

The Blue and Whites’ reserve team won their 32nd match of the season in Los Molinos. Goals from Rufo and Pablo Fornals in the first half were sufficient to clinch victory and remain in play off positions for Second Division B promotion.

With three matches to go until the end of the competition in ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ Group 4, Málaga CF’s academy team has been proclaimed champions, for the second consecutive year. Manel Ruano’s team only needed one point to claim the top spot mathematically, which they did with a goalless away draw to Séneca CF.
