La Academia player, José Luis Zalazar 'Kuki' has been chosen to join Spain’s under-17s for a series of training sessions taking place between 9th and 11th of March at Las Rozas Football City.

Nordin Amrabat, Málaga CF’s Moroccan-born player, and Club adviser, Abdullah Ben Barek visited a group of young people from Morocco struggling to build a future in Málaga. The two representatives from the Club enjoyed the day, sharing experiences and a friendly chat with the group, mixing Spanish, Arabic and Riffian languages in total harmony.

This Wednesday, visitors’ tickets go on sale for the match between Granada Club de Fútbol and Málaga Club de Fútbol at Los Cármenes stadium on Saturday at 10 p.m. Tickets, which are priced at 25 euros thanks to the agreement established between both Andalucían clubs, will be on sale at La Rosaleda ticket offices while stocks last.

The Blue and Whites’ reserve team earned three points from the provincial derby against CD Ronda. The ‘Malaguistas’ took the lead after 30 minutes thanks to Rufo, but ex-‘Malaguista’, Nereo equalised just before half-time. I’m not sure yet whether we’ve definitely secured permanency, or we’re very close to the number of points needed to seal our First Division place next season, with a third of the competition still left to play. Venezuelan-born Roberto Rosales is, like his team, enjoying a great season and the Blue and Whites have almost definitely secured their First Division permanency for another year: “The team has worked incredibly hard since the start of the season, and reaching this level at this point is something to be proud of. Now we’ve mathematically secured our position, we can look towards other objectives.”

Málaga CF vice president, Moayad Shatat, accompanied by the president’s son, Rakan Al-Thani, welcomed Getafe CF president, Ángel Torres to La Rosaleda, along with his vice president, Felipe Trigueros. Accompanying them were Club advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Fernández Benítez and Abdallah Ben Barek; director general, Vicente Casado; and corporate director general, Manuel Novo.
