Málaga Club de Fútbol was back to work this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, to begin preparations for Saturday’s match against Real Sociedad. Amrabat, who was in action with Morocco in a friendly against Uruguay, returned to training with the Blue and Whites today.

Málaga Club de Fútbol coach, Javi Guerra held a press conference following this morning’s training session at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, to talk about the team: “The best and most important part of the season is yet to come and we’ve got a difficult, but good, challenge ahead. We need to restore our excitement and defeat Real Sociedad.”

The Blue and Whites’ reserve team won their 32nd match of the season in Los Molinos. Goals from Rufo and Pablo Fornals in the first half were sufficient to clinch victory and remain in play off positions for Second Division B promotion.

With three matches to go until the end of the competition in ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ Group 4, Málaga CF’s academy team has been proclaimed champions, for the second consecutive year. Manel Ruano’s team only needed one point to claim the top spot mathematically, which they did with a goalless away draw to Séneca CF.
