Málaga Club de Fútbol was back in training this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, with the players from last night’s match at the Santiago Bernabéu taking part in a recovery session.

Tonight’s Blue and Whites’ captain and the scorer of the only ‘Malaguista’ goal in the 3-1 defeat comments: “It’s a disappointing defeat as the team doesn’t deserve this result. The Blue and Whites’ manager is proud of his players’ work despite tonight’s defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu: “The team is upset as we competed well, we had our moments despite it not being easy, but we were hopeful we could have achieved more.”

Málaga Club de Fútbol suffered an excessive 3-1 defeat by Real Madrid at the Bernabéu tonight. Despite a good first half for the ‘Malaguistas’, the Whites took the lead in minute 24 with an offside goal from Sergio Ramos. Whilst Málaga became more focused in the second half, an isolated incident led to the home side’s 2-0 lead in the 69th minute thanks to James. Minutes later Cristiano missed a penalty as the ball hit the post. Juanmi raised Málaga hopes with a goal in minute 70, but Madrid scored a third when the Blue and Whites were deserving of a draw.
