Málaga Club de Fútbol was back in training this evening at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, the second session of the day, which saw the return of Casado, who exercised in the gym this morning as he was suffering with a gastrointestinal virus. Pablo Pérez, with tendonitis in his left femoral biceps, exercised in the gym this evening.

Atlético Malagueño player, Fernando Pérez Quijada “Deco” has been selected by the Spanish Football Federation to take part in training sessions with the under-19’s at ‘Ciudad Deportiva Las Rozas’ from 22nd to 24th September.

The Blue and Whites were back in training this Tuesday morning following a day off yesterday. Tissone, Boka and Casado were absent from today’s session. The team is back in action this evening from 7 at the Ciudad de Málaga.

Málaga CF, under the current name, played their first match 20 years ago, on 4th September 1994 in the Third Division against AD Adra. Juanma Sánchez was the first player to score a goal for the Club under the new name, with Antonio Benítez in the dugout, which resulted in promotion to Second Division B at the end of the season, following 99 goals and no defeats.

Referee, Alejandro José Hernández Hernández, from the ‘Colegio Canario’ will officiate the 5th BBVA League match of the season between Málaga Club de Fútbol and Fútbol Club Barcelona, taking place on Wednesday 24th September at 10 p.m. at La Rosaleda.

Teams within Málaga CF’s youth academy achieved the following results in matches held over the weekend. The ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ boys defeated Real Betis Balompié by 4-0.
