Málaga CF’s starting-11 on Saturday 4th April against Real Sociedad will pay tribute to players from 110 years of footballing history in Málaga. The Blue and Whites’ Club, at the hand of San Miguel – official Málaga CF sponsor – has assembled an historic 11-player line-up each representing a decade of football in our city. A legendary team to bid farewell to the 110-year anniversary celebrations of Málaga football.

For the first time in history, and thanks to the partnership between Real Club Mediterráneo, Real Club de Campo and Málaga Club de Fútbol, the Martiricos outfit is taking part in His Majesty’s ‘El Rey-73’ Winter Regatta, in the international sailing ‘Snipe’ class, from 3rd to 5th April in Málaga Bay. This event will be presented tomorrow, Wednesday from 1 p.m., along with the ‘Malaguista’ sailboat, at the Real Club Mediterráneo port, with Málaga CF team captain, Sergio Paulo Barbosa Valente ‘Duda’ holding a press conference, accompanied by Club advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Benítez and Ben Barek.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Arthur Boka held a press conference this morning to analyse the team and the upcoming match against Real Sociedad: “The match against Real Sociedad is an important one, so we’ll give our all in order to win.”

The 15th Mediterranean International Cup is taking place in Girona from 1st to 5th April, with Málaga CF defending their winner’s title following last year’s victory in the final against Villarreal CF.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Guillermo Ochoa was back in training this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, having returned from international duties with Mexico.

The Málaga CF player was part of Spain’s under-21s victory against Belarus. The ‘Malaguista’ joined the match in minute 68, substituting goal-scorer, Gerard Delofeu.
