The Association of Ex-Málaga Football Players had a meeting yesterday to confirm their participation in a social project launched in Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao, with the support from the veterans from the teams within the aforementioned cities.
The Ballesol San Carlos nursing home in the capital, where the memory workshops will be held, witnessed the meeting between the president of the FEAFV (Spanish Federation of Veteran Footballers’ Associations), Juan Mari Zorriqueta; and members of the Blue and Whites Veterans’ Association, Ernesto Terrón (president), Juanito Gutiérrez (treasurer) and Rafa Serrano (spokesperson).
The collaboration of the Málaga Veterans will involve their attendance, as well as providing support for Alzheimer’s sufferers at the Málaga clinic, aiming to help – along with the medical professionals – to improve their memory as much as possible, that the disease affects over the years.
