Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Duda, Eliseu, Weligton, Juanmi and Portillo, accompanied by Club adviser, Antonio Benítez, attended the IV ‘No Child Without Toys’ Charity Gala, organised by the Frente Bokerón supporters’ club. The event took place in ‘La Trasnochá’ in the Torremolinos fairground, with hundreds of toys donated to the charity for children from some of the poorest families this Christmas.
Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Jesús Gámez, Eliseu and Sergi Darder attended the XII anniversary of the ‘Malaka Hinchas’ supporters’ club yesterday afternoon. Accompanied by Club adviser, Ben Barek, the ‘Malaguista’ players received a very warm welcome at the celebrations, held at the headquarters of one of Málaga CF’s most important supporters’ clubs. Team masseuse, Marcelino Torrontequi, was honoured for his work with the team and his professionalism over the last 15 years. Málaga CF presented ‘Malaka Hinchas’ with a commemorative official team shirt to celebrate the club’s anniversary.
On 6th December, ‘Constitution Day’ and 9th December, ‘Immaculate Conception Day’, the Málaga CF Museum & Tour at La Rosaleda will be open during normal hours.
Málaga Club de Fútbol is up against CA Osasuna in the knockout stage of the Copa del Rey, aiming to qualify for the next round. The Blue and Whites, in collaboration with Málaga CF’s travel agency, Halcón Viajes, are organising a travel package for the return leg against CA Osasuna at El Sadar stadium (Tuesday 17th December, 8 p.m.), leaving on Monday 16th at 7 p.m. and returning after the match on Tuesday. The travel package includes charter flights with the team, match ticket, transfers and accommodation in the four star AC Ciudad de Pamplona hotel, for 320 euros (35 euro surcharge for a single room). The Club members’ Annual General Meeting took place this morning in La Rosaleda’s press room. Previous years’ accounts were presented, and the management of the Board was discussed. Presidents or representatives from the majority of the 35 official ‘peñas’ were in attendance at the Martiricos stadium, along with Club advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Benítez and Ben Barek, and general manager, Vicente Casado.
Málaga Club de Fútbol has listened to the demand from fans and made some exciting changes regarding match tickets. Children up to the age of 12 can now enjoy watching their team at La Rosaleda for a special price; and the following Club members - over 65’s, young people and women - as well as those with a children’s membership, are permitted to ‘cash in’ their membership for an adult match ticket, to enable their friends and family to watch Málaga CF at La Rosaleda.
Málaga CF’s Pawlowski and Angeleri signed autographs for fans at Fuengirola’s Finnish ‘peña’, accompanied by Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar. The Finnish supporters’ club has more than 800 members, who attend every Málaga CF home game at La Rosaleda stadium. President of the ‘peña’, Lauri Pietikainen, was presented with a commemorative Málaga CF shirt at the event, which was also attended by local town councillors, Pedro Cuevas and Katia Westerdhal.
