Chief Medical Officer, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías, released a report today, Tuesday 25th September, regarding the various Málaga players currently receiving treatment.
He underwent a series of tests today in the Rincón - Málaga Club de Fútbol clinic in La Rosaleda, following the injury he sustained in Bilbao. Doctors confirmed the French-born midfielder suffered a Grade II hamstring injury to his right leg. Recovery time hasn’t yet been determined.
The Portuguese-born midfielder is suffering from an injury to his left soleus muscle, sustained in the final stage of training this morning in the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium. The player is awaiting tests.
He wasn’t in training with the rest of the group today, as he’s suffering from a bruised right heel. The Portuguese-born player received treatment in the gym.
The player is recovering well from his Achilles tendon injury. He’s undergoing double recovery training sessions including swimming. Baptista is still on track with his estimated recovery time.
He suffered a Grade I-II left quadriceps injury last week, but is recovering well.
