The 140 students from the last Summer Camps of the year based in Málaga and Vélez-Málaga ended the week with a visit to the first team training session at La Rosaleda today. The boys and girls formed a human corridor which the players and coach walked through and greeted them all. They then all posed for a photo with the entire Blue and Whites’ squad.

Málaga CF’s 2014 Summer Camp has attracted children and teenagers from all areas of the province, as well as all over the world. Russia, USA, Morocco and Poland are just some of the countries that were represented in this year’s ‘Malaguista’ Summer Camp.

Some 130 children from the second MCF Summer Camp held in Málaga had the chance to experience first-hand what it feels like to be a footballer before walking onto the pitch. The boys and girls joined the ‘Malaguista’ first team in the first training session of the season at La Rosaleda stadium.

40 goalkeepers are in training every day at Málaga CF’s Summer Camp. This is a unique opportunity for the young campmates to realise their dream of one day defending the Blue and Whites’ goal. La Academia goalkeeping coordinator, Mario Bazán is in charge of the young Willy Caballeros, and looking forward to another three camps in Málaga capital. There’s still time to sign up for the weeks beginning 6th and 13th July.

Málaga CF’s second coach was present at the final training session in Málaga CF’s Summer Camp in Antequera. Marcelo ‘Gato’ Romero shared the pitch with former Blue and Whites’ player, Manolo Gaspar, and posed for a photo with everyone at the camp at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.

Following his official presentation as a new Málaga Club de Fútbol player, Luis Alberto visited Málaga CF’s 2014 Summer Camp in Benahavís. During his first official act as a member of Málaga CF, the Cádiz-born player signed autographs and posed for photos with the fans, and greeted all the children at the camp, as well as the monitors, Basti and Raúl Iznata.

The Málaga CF 2014 Summer Camp, this year with five bases, gets underway tomorrow, Tuesday 24th June in Ronda and Antequera, and on Wednesday 25th in Benahavís. Veteran players; Basti, Juanito, Arnau, Juanito, Iznata and Manolo Gaspar; along with La Academia coaches, will be teaching in the 2014 Summer Camp. There are three camps taking place in Málaga, with over 200 children, the first of which starts on Sunday 29th June. For more information, visit www.campusmalagacf.com.

As part of the collaboration and sponsorship between Málaga Club de Fútbol and Caixabank, 25 girls and boys at risk of social exclusion have been sponsored by La Caixa Foundation to take part in the 2014 Summer Camp. This year the Summer Camp is being held in Vélez Málaga, Benalmádena, Antequera, Ronda, Benahavís and Málaga. These children will get to enjoy everything the Málaga CF Summer Camp has to offer, in a joint project between the Martiricos outfit and La Caixa Foundation.
