Málaga Club de Fútbol players Santi Cazorla and ‘Recio’ both suffered injuries following the league match against Real Club Deportivo Mallorca on Sunday 12 February. The Asturian player suffered bruising to the big toe on his right foot, and the ‘malaguista’ was taken off in the second half following an injury to his right calf.

Málaga Club de Fútbol player, Joaquín Sánchez, has undergone some medical tests at the ‘Complejo Médico Clínicas Rincón’ in La Rosaleda after reporting some discomfort in his right quadricep. He will now not be available for Sunday’s league clash against Sevilla Fútbol Club and he has now been ordered to continue with his recovery process separate from the group.

Málaga Club de Fútbol player, Joaquín Sánchez, has suffered a grade II tear in his right quadricep. The injury will force him to take a month off, even though its progress will be continually monitored.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Brazilian forward underwent a successful operation this morning. The procedure was carried out by Dr. Petr Spurek at the Royal Marbella Hospital. The doctor removed the distal fragment of the internal sesamoid in the player’s right foot. Julio Baptista will now face a period of convalescence of between six and eight weeks.

Málaga Club de Fútbol player, Julio Baptista will have an operation on Wednesday 7th December in the Royal Marbella Hospital. The Brazilian striker is suffering from a fractured sesamoid on the outside of his right foot and has been off the pitch since October.
