Málaga Club de Fútbol players Santi Cazorla and ‘Recio’ both suffered injuries following the league match against Real Club Deportivo Mallorca on Sunday 12 February. The Asturian player suffered bruising to the big toe on his right foot, and the ‘malaguista’ was taken off in the second half following an injury to his right calf.

Málaga CF player, Joaquín Sánchez, underwent medical tests by Dr. Cugat this lunchtime at Hospital Quirón Hospital Barcelona.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Brazilian forward underwent a successful operation this morning. The procedure was carried out by Dr. Petr Spurek at the Royal Marbella Hospital. The doctor removed the distal fragment of the internal sesamoid in the player’s right foot. Julio Baptista will now face a period of convalescence of between six and eight weeks.

Málaga Club de Fútbol player, Julio Baptista will have an operation on Wednesday 7th December in the Royal Marbella Hospital. The Brazilian striker is suffering from a fractured sesamoid on the outside of his right foot and has been off the pitch since October.

Málaga Club de Fútbol defender, Sergio Sánchez, has received a contracture in his right calf muscle during the match against Real Sociedad on Sunday 4th December.
