Directors of both Clubs exchanged gifts during half-time of the Copa EuroAmericana game. Málaga CF Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar, and director general, Vicente Casado presented the traditional Málaga ship to the president of Deportivo Cali, Álvaro Martínez, and everyone posed for a photo with their respective team’s shirts during this Liga World Challenge event in Columbia.

The former Head of Press at the RFEF between 1995 and 2006 will join Málaga CF as Director of Communications on 1st August, following an extensive career in national sports journalism, beginning at Radio Intercontinental in 1986. More than 10 years on the airwaves saw him move to Radio Nacional, Antena 3 and then Cadena Ser.

He also praised the efforts made by season ticket holders.

Málaga Club de Fútbol deeply regrets the death of José Porras Pacheco, the Club Deportivo Málaga goalkeeper during the 64/65, 66/67 and 67/68 seasons. The Martiricos Club sends condolences to the family and friends of Porras, a much-loved player who was linked to the legendary ‘Malaguista’ player, Migueli.

Málaga Club de Fútbol Vice President, Sheikh Nasser Al Thani visited the academy’s ‘Alevín B’ and ‘Alevín Preferente’ teams in training at ‘Los Prados’ municipal ground, to wish them luck ahead of the Azpeitia Tournament and Andalucían Championships. He later went to the ‘Carlinda’ municipal ground to greet the ‘Cadete’ boys who will be representing Málaga CF this weekend in the Nike Premier Cup 2015.
