Málaga Club de Fútbol’s director general, Vicente Casado, accompanied by Club advisers, Francisco Martín Aguilar, Antonio Benítez and Ben Barek held a press conference in the Juan Cortés press room today to analyse the Club’s current situation, as well as confirm the incorporation of striker, Charles and the first payment for Amrabat. The responsibility of the management of the Club following the painful sales of players, developments with regards to the season ticket campaign, the construction of the Sports City, a debt that has been reduced considerably and the internal restructuring with Javier González de Lara as president of the Málaga CF Foundation, and the creation of a Strategic, Economic and Legal Committee with Daniel Pastor, were some of the featured topics addressed by Casado during the press conference. He also praised the efforts made by season ticket holders.

Málaga Club de Fútbol deeply regrets the death of José Porras Pacheco, the Club Deportivo Málaga goalkeeper during the 64/65, 66/67 and 67/68 seasons. The Martiricos Club sends condolences to the family and friends of Porras, a much-loved player who was linked to the legendary ‘Malaguista’ player, Migueli.

Málaga Club de Fútbol Vice President, Sheikh Nasser Al Thani visited the academy’s ‘Alevín B’ and ‘Alevín Preferente’ teams in training at ‘Los Prados’ municipal ground, to wish them luck ahead of the Azpeitia Tournament and Andalucían Championships. He later went to the ‘Carlinda’ municipal ground to greet the ‘Cadete’ boys who will be representing Málaga CF this weekend in the Nike Premier Cup 2015.

Vice President of Málaga Club de Fútbol and NAS Group, Moayad Shatat, has today presented his resignation as Executive Vice President of the Martircos organisation. Shatat, who joined the Club in the summer of 2012, is leaving his position at Málaga Club de Fútbol after three years. The Jordanian-born former Vice President wishes to bid farewell to the ‘Malaguista’ fans via the following statement:

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Salva Ballesta have agreed to not renew his contract with Atlético Malagueño, when it comes to an end on 30th June. Salva Ballesta has been in charge of the Blue and Whites’ reserve team for the past two seasons, both times achieving qualification to the Second Division B promotion play-offs. Málaga CF wishes Salva the best of luck in his professional coaching career, with the certainty it will be full of success.

Málaga Club de Fútbol, along with Autocares Vázquez Olmedo and AM Expanding have launched a special project for visitors to enjoy a unique Málaga CF experience. From June onwards, tour operators and travel agencies will be offering a pack which includes a tour of the city on the Club’s official coach visiting the most famous landmarks in Málaga, as well as an official tour of La Rosaleda, including a cocktail, a welcome box and a 20% discount in the Club’s official stores.
