The Official Store at La Rosaleda is a major attraction on match day. More than 2,000 fans pass through the doors when there’s a home game, and enjoy all the special offers and promotions, as well as official Málaga CF merchandise. ‘Malagueños’ and supporters of all different nationalities dress in blue and white to support their team. There are only a few minutes left until kick off…visit the Store and explore the world of the Blue and Whites!

Málaga CF, under the current name, played their first match 20 years ago, on 4th September 1994 in the Third Division against AD Adra. Juanma Sánchez was the first player to score a goal for the Club under the new name, with Antonio Benítez in the dugout, which resulted in promotion to Second Division B at the end of the season, following 99 goals and no defeats.

Málaga Club de Fútbol president, Sheikh Abdullah Ben Nasser Al Thani was watching the Blue and Whites in action against Levante UD from the presidential box at La Rosaleda. The Sheikh was accompanied by the president of the rival club, Francisco Javier Catalán; city mayor, Francisco de la Torre; and Málaga-born actor, Antonio Banderas.

Representatives from Málaga Club de Fútbol and Levante Unión Deportiva enjoyed a traditional directors’ lunch at Restaurante Marisquería Godoy at Málaga’s Muelle 1. The Blue and Whites were represented by consultant adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar; director general, Vicente Casado; and deputy director general, Manuel Novo, whilst for the Valencia-based club were its president Francisco Javier Catalán; the honorary president, Francisco Fenellosa; and the advisers Miguel Ángel Ruiz, Víctor Martínez and Javier Martínez.

Málaga Club de Fútbol was present at the General Assembly of the ECA (European Club Association) on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th September, at the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva. Director general of the Club, Vicente Casado and assistant director general, Manuel Novo represented the Martiricos Club, along with representatives from other prominent European clubs, to discuss current issues such as Financial Fair Play.

On Tourism Day in Torremolinos, the town hall of the community located in Málaga province named Málaga CF adviser, Abdallah Ben Barek as a Foreign Honorary Citizen.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s sporting director, Mario Armando Husillos, who is currently in Argentina on business, analyses the 2014/15 ‘Malaguista’ squad via a videoconference at La Rosaleda’s press room: “The Club made a big effort and focused on the sporting aspects. We’re very pleased with the players that have come here.”

Nordin Amrabat (31/03/87, Naarden – Holland) was presented as a new member of Málaga Club de Fútbol this morning. The Moroccan international will wear the number ‘2’ shirt, and is returning to the Martiricos Club on loan this season – with an option to buy at the end – and is excited about his return: “I want to be an important part of the team,” says the new Blue and Whites’ player, who received a warm welcome from thousands of fans this morning.
