La Rosaleda takes a walk along Calle Larios

Málaga CF president, Abdullah Al Thani, and Mayor of the city, Francisco De La Torre inaugurated the ‘La Rosaleda in 75 images exhibition’, which shows the evolution of the Martiricos stadium.

Ten days to enjoy the best moments of Málaga football told through the most representative images. The exhibition, which journeys through the history of La Rosaleda since its construction in 1941 to the present day, will be on display from the 8th to the 18th May in the city centre, for everyone to remember the most important moments for ‘Malaguismo’.

President of the Club, Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani, and the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco De la Torre, inaugurated the exhibition, along with Club advisers; Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar; member of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’; and Sports Councillor, Elisa Pérez de Siles. The daughter of then Mayor, Pedro Luis Alonso, Lourdes Alonso was also in attendance, who made the kick of honour in the inaugural match at La Rosaleda.

The 38 totems situated in Calle Larios house a summary of the 75 images that make up the photographic exhibition to mark the 75th Anniversary of La Rosaleda Stadium. An exhibition that travels to the heart of the city, after being on display at Málaga CF’s Museum & Tour and the University of Málaga (UMA).
