La Rosaleda goes on tour throughout the province

A total of 16 municipalities will enjoy the ‘La Rosaleda in 75 images’ exhibition between July and December. The first stop is Marbella, from 3rd to 13th July.

The ‘La Rosaleda in 75 images’ exhibition is taking a tour of the province to bring people closer to the history of the team, the city and the Martiricos stadium, which celebrated its 75th anniversary last year.

Marbella will be the exhibition’s first stop (3rd to 13th July), followed by the municipalities of Estepona, Benahavís, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Torremolinos, Alhaurín de la Torre, Cártama, Alhaurín el Grande, Coín, Ronda, Campillos, Antequera, Rincón de la Victoria, Vélez-Málaga and Nerja over the next six months.

This was confirmed last Wednesday by the Sports, Youth and Education deputy, Cristóbal Ortega, accompanied by former Málaga player and member of the MCF Foundation, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’. Also in attendance at the presentation, undertaken at Provincial Government, were Club advisers, Antonio Benítez and Ben Barek; head of finance at the Entity, Roberto Cano; Club historian, Domingo Muñoz; and the director of CTI at the UMA, Vicente Martínez, as well as representatives from the Club’s sponsors.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 14th September 2016, coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of La Rosaleda stadium. After being on display at Málaga CF’s Museum&Tour, the exhibition moved to the sports complex at the University of Málaga (UMA), followed by Calle Larios.
