La Rosaleda gives ‘Malaguista blood’

Over 500 ‘Malaguistas’ took part in the blood drive and received two tickets for the Málaga CF – Getafe CF match on Friday.

Málaga CF, via its Foundation, and in collaboration with the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre, organised today’s ‘Malaguista blood’ drive at La Rosaleda stadium.

In attendance were Begoña Tundidor, delegate of Health at the Junta de Andalucía in Málaga; Isidro Prats, director of the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre; Silvia Cabrera, coordinator of the Andalucían Youth Institute; and Sebastián Fernández Reyes, ‘Basti’ from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department.  A representation from the Málaga University ‘peña’ was also present.

Francisca Guzmán, in charge of technical promotion at the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre says to the Club’s media: “Every year we know that when this blood drive takes place here at La Rosaleda, it’s a resounding success,” to which Basti adds: “All of Málaga got behind this initiative, which is great, we want all the hospitals to be filled with ‘Malaguista blood’.  We’ll save a lot of lives with this campaign,” says Basti on the success of the drive.

Málaga CF coach, Javi Gracia also gave blood earlier today, along with second coach, Gato Romero; goalkeeping coach, Iñigo Arteaga; and sports director, Francesc Arnau.
