Atlético Malagueño defeated CD Rincón by 1-4 in Sunday’s match at the Francisco Romero ground. Jaime Moreno scored the first two goals for the ‘Malaguista’ reserve team. The Venezuelan scored two great goals from outside the area in minutes 13’ and 34’. On the border of half-time, in minute 43’, Luismi scored the third goal for the visitors, just grazing the post. Malagueño only needed these three chances to go to the break with an important 0-3 advantage.
In minute 63’, CD Rincón got on the score board. The referee awarded a penalty in the locals’ favour and Semi made it 1-3. However, just five minutes later, Cassano scored the Blue and Whites’ fourth goal following a false exit by Rincón keeper, Mario. With a 1-4 final result, Manel Ruano’s boys now have 53 points (leaders of Third Division Group 9), and await the forthcoming clash with Loja CD, second in the table with 49 points.
Atlético Málaga defeated Híspalis CD by 4-1 in a match in which the Sevilla-based side didn’t lose face until the final minutes of play. Manuel Hernández Navarrete’s team took the lead in minute 11’ thanks to Yamila. Later in minute 39’, Anita anticipated the defence to make it 2-0 at half-time.
The comfortable score didn’t set the trend for the second half. Híspalis weren’t about to forfeit the match, and joined the score board in minute 63’ with a good goal from Reyes. Despite the nervousness on the local bench, Yamila in minute 88’ and Cristina in minute 91’ scored the definitive 4-1 result, helping the ‘Malaguistas’ to stay in the top part of the table (fourth place with 34 points).
