Isco makes his debut with Spain’s first team
Today, 6th February 2013, will be an unforgettable day for Málaga CF’s Isco Alarcón. The Benalmádena-born player made his debut with Spain’s first team in the friendly match against Uruguay in Qatar. Vicente del Bosque’s ‘La Roja’ won by 3-1 with goals from Cesc and Pedro (2).
The Blue and Whites’ midfielder joined the match in the 60th minute, substituting Andrés Iniesta, when Spain were in the lead by 3-1. Isco was very active in the game, showing his high-quality game play for the remaining 30 minutes of the match.
Málaga’s Lugano was on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes as Uruguay’s centre-forward, though they were unable to defeat the European and World Champions. Málaga CF’s Uruguay-born Seba Fernández didn’t get the chance to play for his country tonight.
