Champions of Spain 10 years ago
On 11th May 2003, Málaga CF’s team in the ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ category was proclaimed Spanish champions for the first time in history, after defeating RCD Espanyol 2-0 in Cambrils. The only member of that team, who is now a member of the Blue and Whites’ first team, Jesús Gámez, tells Málaga CF TV what winning that competition meant for the players and the Club. Hernán Mora – the man who discovered Rondón
MCF TV had the chance to meet the coach in Venezuela who first introduced José Salomón Rondón to professional football. Ex Venezuelan footballer, Liberio Hernán Mora didn’t hesitate to give the 17 year old player who excelled on the pitch on the streets of Maracay, a chance to play professionally. He was called Rondón, and today he plays for Málaga and the Venezuela national team.

Rondón: "It'll be a great atmosphere, and very special for me"
