Málaga Club de Fútbol paid tribute to José Díaz Macías on Friday, the former Blue and Whites’ and Spain international player in the 70s. The 8th December was the 10th anniversary of his death, and the Malaguista Entity invited his family to attend Málaga CF – Granada CF at La Rosaleda.
The family of the footballer presented the MCF Foundation with three of the player’s shirts, which will be displayed at the Club’s Museum. Málaga CF Club advisers; Antonio Benítez, Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar, along with Sebastían Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’ from the Málaga CF Foundation’s Social Department, presented Macías’ family with a shirt bearing his name and the number he wore during his time with the Blue and Whites.
