Under the slogan ‘Football Unites Us’, the ‘XIV National Congress of Football Club Peñas’ was held last weekend in the city of Granada. An event attended by the Federación de Peñas Malaguistas (FPM), which served to strengthen ties between the fans of LaLiga teams.

The reception was held on Friday at the Granada Town Hall, and Palacio de los Córdova. The Auditorium of the Health Science Technological Park hosted the activities on Saturday, where representatives from LaLiga, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Referees’ Committee, Association of Spanish Federations of Football Peñas (AFEPE), and the Town Hall and Provincial Government of Granada showed the work undertaken by all the organisations over the past season. The day ended with lunch at Hotel Abades Nevada and a visit to the Alhambra, with all participants at the congress.

The event came to a close on Sunday at Polideportivo Municipal de Albolote, where everyone from all the congregated peñas enjoyed a paella together.
