La Malagueta beach was the beautiful setting where Málaga CF’s new signings; Charles, Fábio Espinho and Juan Carlos wore the Blue and Whites’ shirt for the first time. The players had a photo session following the official presentation in Real Club Mediterráneo, where the players went on to the sand, surrounded by the boys and girls from the Club’s Summer Camp.

On Wednesday 1st July from 8:30 a.m., the Málaga CF players will undergo a series of medical tests at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, to determine their fitness levels on their return from holidays. International players, Ochoa, Rosales, Chen, Horta, Amrabat and Filipenko are taking part, or have taken part in matches representing their countries, and will join pre-season training at a later date.

Portuguese-Brazilian striker, Charles Dias de Oliveira (Belem, Brazil, 04/04/1984) successfully passed the medical tests carried out this morning at Clínicas Rincón, and later signed his contract at La Rosaleda’s offices to become a new Málaga CF player until 2016/17.

Charles Dias de Oliveira arrived at the Costa del Sol airport this afternoon, and will undergo the routine medical tomorrow morning. If he passes successfully, he will immediately join the Málaga Club de Fútbol discipline until the 2016/17 season.

The Málaga Club de Fútbol player was a key part in Portugal’s 5-0 victory over Germany in the semi-finals of the under-21s European Championships, taking place in the Czech Republic. The ‘Malaguista’ striker, who joined the match in the second half, scored the final, definitive goal. Ricardo Horta will therefore be present in the final of this competition.
