Antunes: “I’d love to stay here at Málaga”
Málaga CF’s left-winger, Gabriel Antunes who arrived during the January transfer window, expresses his wish to stay at the Club next season: “I’d love to stay here at Málaga, I’ll wait until the end of the season but I’m very optimistic. Málaga are a fantastic outfit who have given me a great opportunity. The fans are incredible, I love the city…what more could I ask for?” affirms the Portuguese-born defender.

Toulalan returns to group training
This Wednesday morning saw the return of Jeremy Toulalan to group training for the first part of the session, although the French-born midfielder exercised under the instruction of trainer, Hugo Camarero for the second half. Not such good news today is Martín Demichelis suffering with a sprained right ankle, and forced to abandon training after just a few minutes. Following a series of tests carried out today, it's been confirmed that Pedro Morales has a Grade I-II injury to his right femoral biceps muscle.
Málaga CF arrive in the Spanish capital
Málaga Club de Fútbol arrived in Madrid around 8:45 p.m. on the AVE train from Málaga. Led by Club Adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar, the group left La Rosaleda at 5:40 p.m. on the team coach to the María Zambrano station, where around 50 fans were waiting to greet the team. The AVE left at 6:10 p.m., and on arrival in Madrid, the group was taken to Hotel AC Monte Real.
Journey to Madrid
Málaga Club de Fútbol is leaving for the capital tomorrow, Tuesday 7th May, for the 36th BBVA League match of the season against Real Madrid.
Málaga CF now in Granada
Málaga Club de Fútbol is now in Granada ahead of tomorrow’s derby clash with Granada Club de Fútbol at Los Cármenes, kicking off at 6 p.m. Led by Club Adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar, the ‘Malaguistas’ left La Rosaleda at 7 p.m. on the team coach, and arrived to heavy rain in Granada around 8:30 p.m. The team was welcomed by a group of fans at Hotel Nazaríes, where the Blue and Whites are staying until the match.
Journey to Granada
Málaga CF is travelling to Granada this Friday 3rd May, ahead of the 34th BBVA League match of the season.
Málaga CF – Sevilla FC on Sunday 12th May at 9 p.m.
The schedule for the 35th BBVA League matches has been announced. Málaga CF will host Sevilla FC at La Rosaleda on Sunday 12th May at 9 p.m. Before this match, the ‘Malaguistas’ will face two away matches against Granada CF and Real Madrid, the latter brought forward due to the Copa del Rey.

Gámez, Demichelis and Eliseu absent from today’s group training
The Blue and Whites were back to work today at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium. Jesús Gámez was absent following his injury in Sunday’s match against Getafe CF, along with Martín Demichelis and Eliseu who exercised in the gym today, both suffering with a left hamstring strain. Today’s session saw the return of Toulalan, who trained on the pitch alongside Hugo Camarero.
