Málaga CF players, Fernando Tissone and Roque Santa Cruz are taking part in the Match for Peace, organised by the ‘Pupi’ and ‘Scholas Occurrentes’ Foundations, and endorsed by Pope Francisco Bergoglio with the aim of uniting the different religions of the world. During the audience with the Pope, midfielder, Fernando Tissone presented His Holiness with a Blue and Whites’ 110 year anniversary commemorative shirt, signed by the player and bearing his player number, along with a special dedication. The Argentine player posted the following message on social media after the event: “Dream fulfilled.”

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Nordin Amrabat and Roberto Chen have been called up to represent Morocco and Panama respectively. Following his presentation this morning, Amrabat travelled to Morocco this afternoon to join his national squad, whilst Chen is currently in the US where his team will face Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Nordin Amrabat (31/03/87, Naarden – Holland) was presented as a new member of Málaga Club de Fútbol this morning. The Moroccan international will wear the number ‘2’ shirt, and is returning to the Martiricos Club on loan this season – with an option to buy at the end – and is excited about his return: “I want to be an important part of the team,” says the new Blue and Whites’ player, who received a warm welcome from thousands of fans this morning.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Sergi Darder has again been selected tonight to join Spain’s under 21’s. The Artá-born player will substitute Porto FC’s Óliver Torres who was injured this afternoon with his team, and will join Albert Celades’ team tomorrow, Monday.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Galatasaray Spor Külübu have come to an agreement for Nordin Amrabat (31/03/87, Naarden – Holland) to return to the Martiricos Club on loan, with an option to buy at the end of the season. The Morrocan international will re-join the Blue and Whites following his loan period last season, with the attacking midfielder a key member of the team in the second round of the League competition, playing 15 matches, scoring two goals and five goal assists. Amrabat will be presented as a Blue and Whites’ player on Monday 1st September at 12 p.m. at La Rosaleda. Fans who would like to welcome the player can access the stadium via door 35 – gifts will be presented in the stands.

The next match taking place at La Rosaleda will be held on Saturday 13th September, following the break for international commitments, but will now kick off earlier than previously scheduled, at 6 p.m. Málaga CF - Levante UD swapped times with the RC Celta – Real Sociedad game, which is taking place on Saturday 13th at 10 p.m.

Málaga CF winger, Ricardo Horta could make his debut with Portugal’s first team, having been a regular fixture in the country’s youth ranks. Antunes returns to Paulo Bento’s line-up for the EURO 2016 qualifier against Albania on 7th September at the Aveiro Municipal Stadium.
