Málaga CF’s Juan Miguel Jiménez ‘Juanmi’ has been called-up by the Royal Spanish Football Federation to take part in training sessions at the beginning of June at Las Rozas Football City.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Igor Filipenko has been selected to join the Belarus line-up for two international matches. The first is a friendly against Russia, and the second, a Euro 2016 qualifier against Spain.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Nordin Amrabat has been called-up to join Morocco for the 2017 Africa Cup qualifier against Libya, taking place on 12th June.

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Roberto Rosales has been selected by the Venezuela coach to take part in the Copa America 2015 in Chile, from 14th June.

Málaga CF’s players and coaching team thanked the ‘Malaguista’ fans following this evening’s match, wearing “Gracias afición” “Thank you to the fans” t-shirts. The entire squad, along with coach, Javi Gracia did a lap of the pitch at La Rosaleda stadium, applauding the Blue and Whites’ fans who responded with singing and a standing ovation to bring an end to the 2014/15 season. Thanks to all the fans!

The Málaga-born striker scored two goals in tonight’s final game of the season at La Rosaleda, and was named man of the match by Blue and Whites’ fans: “We played well. I’m thrilled with the two goals I scored to say goodbye to the fans and the team. We fought with dignity and we must be proud of Málaga and the entire season. This team has brought enjoyment to fans all over the world.”

Málaga CF midfielder, Ignacio Camacho held a press conference in the mixed zone at La Rosaleda following this evening’s game against Sevilla FC: “We gave our all on the pitch, and even though we lost, at least we did all we could.”

The Málaga CF coach bids farewell to the season in a press conference in the Juan Cortés press room, following tonight’s match at La Rosaleda stadium against Sevilla FC: “This team worked so hard, was full of enthusiasm and had some truly great moments. The boys cannot be criticised for anything at all, they always aspired to achieve more, but we need to be realistic and look at the situations objectively.”
