Málaga Club de Fútbol has arrived back in Málaga following the LFP World Challenge Tour in Australia, in which the Blue and Whites took part in two pre-season friendlies. The group left Perth for Dubai at 6 a.m. on Monday, where they caught another flight to Madrid. Once in the Spanish capital, the team left for Málaga on a charter flight, arriving at 11:30 p.m. approximately.

Málaga Club de Fútbol drew 1-1 with Perth Glory FC in the second match of the pre-season as part of the LFP World Challenge in Australia. Ricardo Horta put the Blue and Whites in the lead in minute 31, and in the second half, Keogh equalised for Perth in minute 56. Málaga CF will begin the journey back to Málaga on Monday, arriving on the Costa del Sol on Monday night.

The Blue and Whites arrived in Perth this afternoon (local time) following their stay in Adelaide. Led by Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar, along with director general, Vicente Casado and sporting director, Mario Armando Husillos, the ‘Malaguistas’ arrived in Western Australia at 3 p.m. (Australian time). The group then made their way to Duxton Hotel Perth.

Following their stay in Adelaide, Málaga Club de Fútbol is heading for Perth tomorrow, Saturday, on a 12:30 p.m. flight. On arrival in Western Australia, the Blue and Whites will head over to Duxton Hotel Perth, where the coach, Javi Gracia, and two players will hold a press conference. A training session is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, before Sunday’s game against Perth Glory, kicking off at 3 p.m. (9 a.m. in mainland Spain).

The Málaga CF coach and the member of the Adelaide United coaching team worked together in Villarreal CF between 2000 and 2002, with Gracia playing for the ‘Yellow Submarines’ in the historic Intertoto Cup final against the Blue and Whites. They have reunited in Australia, and talk to Málaga CF TV about their past careers and what’s happening in their lives now.

Málaga Club de Fútbol has come to an agreement with Sport Lisboa e Benfica for the transfer of left-winger, Eliseu, who in two stages has played 212 official matches with the Blue and Whites, scoring 26 goals.
