Málaga Club de Fútbol fans are once again drumming up support for the team on social networking sites, with the ‘ponte la blanquiazul’ trend, encouraging everyone to wear blue and white during the last home match of the season at La Rosaleda on Sunday.

The Málaga supporter’s club in Madrid, the ‘Bokerones’ gave a very warm welcome to the ‘Malaguista’ coach, Manuel Pellegrini at the hotel where the team is staying in the Spanish capital. The Chilean-born coach, accompanied by Club Adviser Francisco Martín Aguilar, was very grateful at the immense amount of support from the Madrid-based Blue and Whites’ supporters.

The ‘Peña Conejito de Torrox Duda 17’ paid tribute to Sergio Paulo Barbosa “Duda” during their anniversary celebrations yesterday. The Blue and Whites’ supporters’ club honoured the player’s career, with Duda being the current team member who has worn the Málaga shirt the most.

Málaga CF, in collaboration with Halcón Viajes, is organising a travel package to Madrid, with just the return flight with the team after the match, and the Real Madrid – Málaga CF match ticket included, on Wednesday 8th May at 9:30 p.m. The price per person is 140 euros, including return flight, match ticket and coach transfer from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to Barajas airport, as well as basic travel insurance.

Tickets for this match in the visitors’ area of Los Cármenes Stadium will be available on Thursday 2nd May from 10 a.m., at La Rosaleda ticket offices, priced at 25 euros exclusively for ‘Malaguista’ members. As well as proof of membership, League members must also provide ID.

During half-time in Sunday’s League clash between Málaga CF and Getafe, new ‘Malaguista’ Card members, Álvaro Gil Toscano and Antonio Ariza Fuentes will get the chance to win a Yamaha motorbike. The two fans will try and score from midfield at La Rosaleda, to be in with the chance of winning a Yamaha X-Enter.

Málaga CF player Seba Fernández, received the ‘Castillo de Sohail’ Trophy from the Malaguista Supporters’ Club of Fuengirola in honour of his courage and commitment on the pitch.

Málaga Club de Fútbol will face Getafe Club de Fútbol at La Rosaleda this Sunday at 5 p.m.
