The CEO and the adviser of the Málaga CF Academia, Sheika Hamyan Al Thani, accompanied Antonio Contreras during his presentation as the Blue and Whites womens’ coach. “Welcome to your second home, wishing you much success. Welcome to Málaga,” the adviser said.
Raring to go and excitement
During the presentation which took place at La Rosaleda, the Extremadura-born coach affirmed that he had arrived in Málaga “raring to go and full of excitement” and that his links with Málaga will be for three years. “The project can’t be just for a year, it must have continuity. We hope it won’t only be for three years, but many more.”
Copa de la Reina
“If we believe in a project, how are we not going to try and do the best we can. We’re talking about a project that ends with the Copa de la Reina. Regardless of whether you train in a youth team, if you play in the first or second division, above all else is the project, the excitement, the patience and the passion that we put into things.”
