The Malaguista striker was shown his fifth yellow card this season in the last League clash against CD Leganés. As such, Charles has been given a one-match suspension due to an accumulation of cards, and will not be playing against Atlético de Madrid.
In addition, players currently with four yellow cards and on the brink of federative suspension are: Mikel, Ricca, Recio, Keko and Ontiveros. Rosales – who was sent off with a double yellow this season – also has four yellow cards.
