Press conference

Atsu: “Levante will be difficult, but we’ll try to win in front of our fans”

Christian Atsu held a press conference at the Ciudad de Málaga press room: “There are three games left and I want to make the most of my opportunities”, says the Ghanaian winger.

Offensive work

“I’m well, 100 per cent on form, without any problems.  We need to improve on the attack to score more goals.  The team is working very hard, there are also rivals that defend well and who have a lot at stake, but I think we’ll improve on this factor.”

Happy in Málaga

“I’m really happy here, I enjoy the way we train and play.  I’m delighted to be in Málaga.  What I want is the opportunity to play, right now I have this option, but staying here will depend on Chelsea.”

Javi Gracia

“I think that as well as being a great coach, he’s also a good person.  He talks to me a lot, and with everyone, whether you’re playing or not.  I’m part of Málaga at the moment and trying to do the best I can.”

Personal objectives

“There are no guarantees to be part of the starting-11, I always respect the decisions of the coach.  There are three games left this season, and if I have the chance, I would like to score two or three goals.”

Levante

“It’ll be a very difficult match against Levante, as they’re playing to stay in the First Division.  However, we’re playing in front of our fans and we’ll try our best to win for our home crowd.”
