Teams within Málaga CF’s youth academy achieved the following results in matches held over the weekend. The ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ boys defeated Real Betis Balompié by 4-0.

Teams in Málaga Club de Fútbol’s youth academy have a weekend full of exciting games, in particular the ‘División de Honor Juvenil’ derby between Málaga CF and Real Betis.

Málaga Club de Fútbol La Academia player, José Luis Zalazar 'Kuki' has been chosen by Spain’s under-17’s team to take part in a series of training sessions from 15th to 17th September, at ‘Ciudad Deportiva de Las Rozas, in Madrid.’

The youngest teams from Málaga CF’s youth academy took part in the ‘Elit Centre d’Esports Manresa’, ‘Benamejí’ and ‘La Rambla’ tournaments last weekend, along with other youth teams from First Division clubs and local sides.

More teams from Málaga CF’s youth academy are kicking off their respective competitions. The ‘Segunda Andaluza Alevín’ boys made their debut over the weekend, along with the ‘Tercera Andaluza Benjamín’ side. Both teams were victorious, over CD Malaka CF by 9-1 and Peña Compadres by 7-1 respectively. The ‘División de Honor juvenil’ team lost away to Maracena (2-1), but defeated Peña Barcelonista Melilla at El Viso by 6-0.

Four teams within Málaga CF’s youth ranks join Atlético Malagueño this weekend and kick off their season in their respective categories.

The ‘Alevines’ and ‘Benjamines’ from the youth academy won the I Lauro Cup, after defeating Tiro Pichon and La Mosca in the respective finals. Málaga CF’s ‘Cadetes’ were also proclaimed champions of the II ‘Estrellas’ Tournament held in Huetor Vega (Granada).
