La Rosaleda has 12 new faces. Málaga CF has made the most of this summer transfer window, which closed yesterday, to sign a dozen footballers to reinforce a balanced squad on all lines. As such, the Blue and Whites Club is one of the LaLiga outfits to make the most signings for the 2017/18 season.

Roberto, Cenk Gönen, Andrés Prieto, Diego González, Baysse, Juankar, Rolón, Kuzmanovic, Adrián, Cecchini, Borja Bastón and Rolan join the squad, which has 24 first team players, as well as En-Nesyri and Mula.

In addition, homegrown players, Álex Robles, Maty and José Carlos regularly train under the orders of Míchel.

The versatility of Rolan complements Borja’s characteristics, a purer striker. Rolón and Kuzmanovic, along with Cecchini And Adrián, strengthen the Blue and Whites’ engine room. In defence, there are also two new signings, Diego González and Paul Baysse, who join a Málaga with three new faces in goal, Roberto, Cenk Gönen and Andrés Prieto. They all, along with Juankar, who can play as both an attacking midfielder and a winger, join the Malaguista project to try and get the team as high as possible in the 2017/18 season, which has only just begun.
