La Malagueta beach was the beautiful setting where Málaga CF’s new signings; Charles, Fábio Espinho and Juan Carlos wore the Blue and Whites’ shirt for the first time. The players had a photo session following the official presentation in Real Club Mediterráneo, where the players went on to the sand, surrounded by the boys and girls from the Club’s Summer Camp.

Following the medicals and physical tests carried out yesterday, the Málaga CF players underwent the first pre-season group training session this morning. Work kicked off on the pitch at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium with warm-up exercises, following by a workout in the gym.

Blue and Whites’ captain, Weligton welcomed the pre-season in a press conference this morning in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium: “As from today, we will try and do the best job we can to defend this shirt with great enthusiasm. I understand that fans have their days and get angry, but I’m sure that when the League gets underway we’ll see a full stadium, the fans will be supporting us and I hope we can all enjoy a fantastic season,” says the ‘Malaguista’ player.

From 8:30 this morning, the Málaga CF players underwent the routine medical at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium as they return from their summer holidays, and later had a series of physical tests in groups to determine their fitness levels on this first day of 2015/16 pre-season training. Charles, Juan Carlos Pérez, Fábio Espinho and up to nine home grown players were present on this first day back to work.

On Wednesday 1st July from 8:30 a.m., the Málaga CF players will undergo a series of medical tests at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, to determine their fitness levels on their return from holidays. International players, Ochoa, Rosales, Chen, Horta, Amrabat and Filipenko are taking part, or have taken part in matches representing their countries, and will join pre-season training at a later date.

Portuguese-Brazilian striker, Charles Dias de Oliveira (Belem, Brazil, 04/04/1984) successfully passed the medical tests carried out this morning at Clínicas Rincón, and later signed his contract at La Rosaleda’s offices to become a new Málaga CF player until 2016/17.
