Kameni responded to some imaginative questions from the young journalists in La Rosaleda’s press room: “The most important thing is respect and hard work within a team. You’ll all need the help and support of your classmates in school, as well as your parents and teachers, the same way in which we need help from our teammates and coach,” says Kameni to the young fans from Simón Bolívar primary school.

Málaga Club de Fútbol goalkeeper, Carlos Kameni held a press conference this morning to discuss the upcoming BBVA League game against Rayo Vallecano. As part of the II Children’s Day activities, students from Simón Bolívar School in Málaga acted as journalists following the press conference. Kameni says: “The most important thing is to win, take each match at a time and always focus on the three points in play. This is the only way to grow and move forward.”

The Blue and Whites reach the end of the week ahead of the forthcoming match against Rayo Vallecano, with the first full house of the season expected on Sunday at La Rosaleda.

Blue and Whites’ players, José Manuel Casado, Juanpi Añor and Samu Castillejo, along with Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar and deputy director general, Manuel Novo inaugurated ‘El Lerele’ supporters’ club in the neighbouring town of Almuñécar on the Costa Tropical in Granada province. Mayor of the town, Trinidad Herrera was also present.

Referee, Santiago Jaime Latre from the Aragón School of Referees will officiate the 10th BBVA League match of the season between Málaga Club de Fútbol and Real Sociedad at the Anoeta stadium, on 1st November at 10 p.m.

On Sunday 26th October, Málaga CF will welcome Rayo Vallecano to La Rosaleda for the 9th BBVA League game of the season. This match will mark the 15th time these two rivals have met in the First Division, with a good run of results for Málaga CF at La Rosaleda.

Málaga Club de Fútbol wishes to honour and remember Juan Cortés, the dedicated journalist, ‘Malaguista’ historian, general secretary and Martiricos Club manager during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, who sadly passed away last Monday. The press room at La Rosaleda will be renamed the Juan Cortés press room (‘Sala de prensa Juan Cortés’) as a permanent tribute.

‘Malaguista’ first team players, Kameni and Samuel García visited the Almudena Grandes infant and primary school, with over 600 children taking part in the Children’s Day celebrations organised by Málaga CF and provincial government.
