Víctor and Samu, with Spain’s Under 17s
Spain beat Bulgaria 0-1 yesterday afternoon with a goal by Rubén Duarte in minute 57. The Under 17s manager, Santi Denia, chose Blue and Whites defender Víctor Ruiz and the striker, Samu Castillejo, to be in his line-up. On Thursday, 23rd February, there is a Bulgaria-Spain rematch at the Histro Botev stadium from 2 p.m.
José Cornejo, with Spain’s Under 16s
The La Academia player yesterday took part in the Spain-Germany friendly held at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas (Madrid), which ended with a 1-2 win for the Germans, thanks to goals by Tah and Brandt for the visitors, and one by Martínez for Spain. The Malaguista players Víctor Ruiz and Samu Castillejo are playing with Spain’s Under 17s in two friendlies over three days in the town of Blaogoevgrad, Bulgaria. In addition, José Cornejo, with Spain’s Under 16s, played a friendly against Germany in Las Rozas.
