Málaga CF Preferente Alevín was one of the 14 teams taking part in the international tournament, on an adventure they’ll never forget! Following an impressive first stage of the competition in South Korea, the Blue and Whites were defeated by Kashima in the quarter final by 1-0, their rival went on to be crowned tournament champions, after they beat Thailand in the final.
Málaga was the most well-loved team of the Asian tournament, following their excellent performance. The teams that were knocked out of the competition early on were quick to get behind the Blue and Whites, offering their full support. Málaga definitely earned their place in the tournament amongst some of the best teams from all over the world.
As well as this amazing footballing experience, Málaga also had the chance for some sight seeing, and visited several Buddhist temples.

Málaga cause a sensation in South Korea!
Málaga CF Infantil gave an outstanding performance in the Gyeongju International Youth Football tournament, held in South Korea up until yesterday, involving teams from every continent. Despite leaving the competition in the quarter finals, the Blue and Whites played some excellent football, and gained the love and respect of the fans and other teams taking part.
